Buying Boxes

I really condsidering buy a box or 2 of this new set when it comes out and was just wondering what was the cheapest way.

The first question you should ask yourself is whether you want to buy an American box or a Japanese box.
Japanese Boxes contain a holo in every pack, however, they do not contain reverse holos, and if there's a secret card in the English version of the set (like Time Space Distortion in MT), it probably won't be in the Japanese version.
Also, with the two next sets in particular, it's even tougher. Our third and fourth DP sets contain the same cards as Japan's third and fourth, but they are split up differently.

Anyways, if you want a Japanese box, get it from Ebay or an online store (like Wakaba). If you want an English one, get it from Ebay or from a hobby store (They're usually cheaper than chains like Target or Meijers).

Find some good card stores that actually seem to know about the product. These tend to be the places that buy the most and offer the best deals.

One I can personally recommend is Collector's Cache. Hard to beat their prices. They carry both English and Japanese product.

If you want holos, don't buy a box. For the price you might pay for a box (~$85), you could buy 20+ foils from the set. Or 15 of them and like an lv.X. Buying packs are random and the only reason I'd ever buy a box was if I wanted a TSD or multiple lv.X's. But with TSD's being worth around half a box, you could buy 2 on eBay for the price of a box. And with lv.X's value going down the drain, you could get 3-4 lv.X for the price of a box.
