Plan now to attend Asheville's first Battle Road!!! See below for details.

The gauntlet has been thrown by a local player that hardly anyone from mid & eastern NC attends...so I hope to see a lot of players from these areas to make this one of the biggest attended Carolinas BR!!!

I-40 West to I-26 East/US-74 East toward Hendersonville/Spartanburg/Asheville Airport to NC-191 (exit 33) toward Blue Ridge Pkwy. Turn left onto NC-191/Brevard Rd then right onto Rocky Ridge Rd.

If card has been reprinted in one of the sets mentioned above the older version can be used (i.e. Warp Point, TV Reporter, etc).

Rounds
Based on attendance. After swiss rounds are completed, cut to single elimination per age group with 1 hour match, best 2 of 3 (top ?? will be based on attendance per age group with a MAXIMUM cut of 4).

Prizes (Junior, Senior, & Master Divisions)
1st - Pokemon TCG Trophy Card & 8 booster packs of Mysterious Treasures
2nd - 4 booster packs of Mysterious Treasures
3rd - 2 booster packs of Mysterious Treasures
4th - 2 booster packs of Mysterious Treasures

Jeff: This is the same location as Asheville's CC last year isnt it? I will mark my calander and see if we can make it over. Always fun to hang with the Reynolds!

Keith it is the same location as CC's back in January. Hope you can make it over because it definitely won't be the same without you!!!

Heard the guantlet has been extended to the eastern TN players from a couple of the Asheville players. Shaping up to be a very interesting BR!!!
 
Jeff.....I'm sure east TN will be well represented. Dunno the numbers yet, but will know more after this weeks BR here in Sevierville!

Last weekend for Battle Roads and chance to win the coveted Trophy card!!! Looking forward to seeing the TN crew. Based on what I am hearing it is shaping up to be one heck of a battle in the age divisions... See everyone this Sat.
 
We may be 1 TN crew member short. As you probably know from Mike already...TJ's uncle died in FL and then went down on Sunday. I dont know when they get back yet. If they return in time, TJ can ride with me.

Look forward to seeing my NC friends!! Maybe I can see if I can find a lil something to toss into the giveaway bucket!

It just so happens that I'll be vacationing in the Gatlingburg area that weekend so I'm planning a quick side trip on Saturday over to Ashville. Look for three players from the Nashville area (assuming the rest of the family sleeps in and I can get out unnoticed). One for masters, one Senior and one Junior.

TJ is back in town and on board for the trip. We will be a full car with 1 Judge and 3 players coming to invade Asheville!
