different idea for a clefable

adamant
252 hp, 24 attack, 117 defense, 117 special defense
magic guard
belly drum
facade
moonlight/softboiled
brick break/drain punch/iron tail



first turn: belly drum
second turn to death: either heal or facade (boosted from poison)

I don't think its fast enough to get off another attack after a belly drum+ poison damage.It would just get koed before it could do anything.
 
I understand the concept but I do not believe you would be able to pull this off successfully. Magic Guard and Toxic Orb is a nifty strategy (if it DOES avoid Poison from Toxic Orb) and might work. But using it along with Belly Drum would simply be overkill. You either use Toxic Orb and Magic Guard or Belly Drum... but not both.

Clefable is actually not fast enouhg to Belly Drum. In that case, you would be better off going with a different strategy all together.

magic guard does prevent posion damage. the plan with this clefable is to have a pokemon baton pass in with a few agilities first
 
Two strikes against this set that I can think of:

1. Clefable isn't fast enough to pull of Belly Drum effectively
2. Even if you do Belly Drum, more than likely the opponent will get off an attack and KO Clefable.
