So...heres my Magmortar list set around dp3's release, main attacker is mag lvl x, typlosion is secondary, and then magneton used to recycle for situations to use energy draw or MAINLY for flame drum, I am still on the fence of adding delcatty ex and I would need much persuasion to include it, anyway I think list is much better than previous's list and could possibly be net decked but probably unlikely...all comments given I will accept gracelously...

I already tested some Apprentice matches with Magmortar decks, and I think it works better without Typhlosion. Energy support for the bench does not help that much, and you'd better concentrate on bringing out Magmortar and Delcatty.

Use DRE to get Magmortar powered up quick enough. Energy discarded by Magmortar and Magmortar Lv.X can be recycled with Delcatty ex.

Maybe you should take out the typhlosion line for a 2-1-2 blastoise d line (Empoleon's gonna kill you with that huge water weakness.) I would also use 2 dp1 magmortar and put in 2 magby (take out 2 PETM.) I would also go 2/2 with dual and great balls. Also, take out the 3rd PETM for a mentor.

I think adding in 2 Magby would be better than having a 1-1 form of Magneton. Magby does the function that magneton does, only better.

Dont u think 4 Celio and 3 Prof Elm are way too much?^Id drop the Elms for TV reporters... and add Delcatty ex for energy retrieval.
