Opps my bad you know what I mean, and I'm 4 cards short and forget what they are anyways both days the field was about 1/3 Mario so thats why I played Dodrio of course I don't play one either day.

Nice deck there, it could possibly work, sadly a lot of decks don't need powers anymore, and your deck might get hard against those, since Raichu is practically useless then, unless you wanna burn your Scramble every turn. That is not very consistent, and you still need 2 hits in order to take down some of the HP enriched powerhouses on the scene. Lucario is therefore a much more solid option, with good weakness (+30 psychic vs Raichus 2X fighting ouch), more HP and all around attacks. Plus we have a LV X option for him too, which is really good!

>_> I myself, don't like to common decks, so I tried to build something (or rather search the web, I can't possibly invent a new deck in Sweden, because if it is good somebody in America or Japan have already invented it lol). Anyway GatrEggs is if you ask me very underestimated, and has actually very big resemblence with the first Ambush deck with Marowak. Both Feraligatr and Exeggutor can hit the bench or the active for kinda high damage. Feraligatr can in a nice way attack the bench, first he gust them out and then damage then, and in this way you can target benchwarmers that's on the bench for the power. They can't hit back since they seldomly have energies, and if they have high retreat they will end up there, and you can safely attack again. Therefore you can easily spread damage early on without KO'ing your opponent, and the Scramble spam later on for some fast prizes! SDharp Fang is decent in strength and Holon Circle on Exeggutor is boarderline broken.

The deck isn't super dependent of Battle Aura (Windstorms don't hurt though), and it is perfectly suited for Scramble, and can get the Castform start. Sadly the Holon Castform start doesn't work well without Holon Transceiver, but it still needs to be there in order to retrieve Scramble energies. Also you can easily toss in some Rayquaza Ex for more bench hitting damage, and it also fits the idea of the deck, which is to be behind in the Prize Count early on!

Wow, good point. I'll have to test with lucario too! Raichu will be almost useless against Kricket, Mario, mono-Blissey, any other Empoleon deck.BTW, what is Lucario? Is he a dog?

Yeah Raichu is not that good anymore, any ideas will help, I tested Lucario/empoleon to many problems with energy, and yes Lucario is a dog (one of the big ones).

If you attach a DRE to Lucario, will it do 30 and 10 to the bench, or 30 and 20 to the bench?

Also, Castaway, and the new Roseanne's Research card can help with energy problems, right?

Read the card, it helps a lot.
Double Rainbow Energy
Damage done to your opponent's Pokemon by the Pokemon Double Rainbow Energy is attached to is reduced by 10

Compare to Darkness energy (Special)
If the Pokemon Darkness Energy is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokemon

Dark tells you to apply extra ONLY if done to active. DRE says OPPONENT'S POKEMON, meaning ALL of your opponent's Pokemon

Yes they will, but Empoleon/Luvdics alone works better I think. The next set will improve the deck with Lapras it does Castaway for one water nrg.
