Mikey - You guessed correctly. This year States will only be held on 2 weekends 3/1/08 or 3/8/08. If you do a search on the OP website you will find these States being held in the NorthEast:

3/1/08 - Rhode Island
3/1/08 - New Hampshire

3/8/08 - NYC
3/8/08 - Massachusetts

So you see there wont be a way to rack up points since there are 2 on the same day each of those weekends. Although this spilts up the player base and therefore will draw from the overall numbers of each event, this will also allow more players to Top Cut. So basically now it will be to choose which State you feel you will do better at.
