Garchomp X???

My guess is will get the Garchomp Lv.X DP Promo in POP7 or maybe they'll hold back the Lucario Gift Tin for the spring so they can release 3 Lv.X Spring Tins (Garchomp Lv.X, Lucario Lv.X, Porygon-Z Lv.X)

As for the DP4 Garchomp Lv.X, that'll get released next year for our 4th Set :D

If Garchomp Lvl. X comes out in a tin, I think it'll be independent of the Lucario Lvl. X one (which is coming out soon).

Can anyone give me a link to information on the Lucario tin? Just curious. I hope we get Garchomp lv X in a tin soon. It's such a fun deck, it's just wrong that only Japan can play it!

Why does Pokémon release the sets so differently between the US and Japan? This is really going to make it hard on the US at worlds if Japan gets to play with all these cards months before Worlds and we only get weeks. What is stopping them from releasing the sets simultaneously everywhere, or at least with in a couple of weeks of each other, in the same order?

It doesn't make it hard on the US at all - Worlds is run with the US Modified format. In fact, Japanese players, who use a radically different format (I believe it's TRR-DP4 right now), can't use sets they've been playing with all year when they come to Worlds, and players from other parts of the world often have to play in a format that includes sets that haven't been released in their region yet!

Ouch that would suck for them both. In a way the Japanese get a sneak peak of what to come in the next season.... while the other players in the world get cheated by no letting them get the chance at playing the same cards we use. (unless they buy English cards to build there decks)... That's just so unfair.

Well could we please get some confirmation from POP on this matter?? I just went to a SW pre release today (got me my Honchcrow LV X, YAY!) and it was the first PR I've been to since Crystal Guardians. Yeah, it's been awhile...

Anyway I noticed that there were no set lists this time around. Does POP release the set lists to the PTO's anymore, or am I just out of the loop somehow?? I would definately like to see a set list from POP that way I think we can all confirm if Garchomp LV X is in fact in this set or not. :thumb:

And if it's not in this set, why hasn't it been put in here and leave us with only 2 LV X??

IIRC the setlists given out never have the "secret" cards in there. TSD from DP2 or Celebi ex from UF for example.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

First, as has been said, there is no Garchomp Lv. X in the set. Secondly, this makes cities a little more even, as, when Chomp X comes out, it will be the most broken card in the format.

Garchomp lv X is not broken supposed to Blissey. But from my experience, Garchomp lv X seems to be the anti-anti-Blissey, meaning as soon as Blissey dies to its anti-Blissey, Garchomp lv X will be able to reign. So let's just wait a bit more and hope it's in the next set in a few months time. 8)

Garchomp Lv X's rebirth will be devastating to opponents not prepared, not for it's hitting power but for what it can do
Rebirth: Search your discard pile for a Pokemon card (excluding Pokemon Lv.X) and play it on your Bench as a Basic Pokemon. Then, you may search your discard pile for 3 Basic Energy cards and attach them to that Pokemon

If this is correct a stage 2 that needs like 4 nrgy to fight can be charged and used as a basic in one turn. Blissey is done. The only thing keeping Blissey alive is the 130hp and the fact there is very few cards that can OHKO it. I'll be playing *** card with my chomps and eating Blissey for a snack.
Long live the new king. Its too bad it wasn't in SW.

Welcome back Crystal Shard... We were wondering when the next broken card to need you as a counter would come. ._."

...Though that won't stop the pain of Garchomp's Body and you'll have to put up with at least one Rebirth before you can kill the thing :/ The only good news is that Garchomp can't bring back LV.X pokemon (...Though I don't know WHY you'd ever want to do that)

Allow me to direct your attention to a card named "Blissey." It's in Mysterious Treasures.

Can be beaten. Nothing broken about it.

We at least know that Chomp will be released before the end of the season. They would not give the Japanese one up on everyone else. I'm actually quite pleased with where the meta is going instead of having to see a Chomp LX in every bloody deck from here until Nationals. Its a little too early to begin shard slaying, I think.

There is no Garchomp X in the set because the cards are 1/132, 2/132, etc so all the cards are in the gallery and there isn`t any Secret Card like TSD in Dp2. Seeya!

Did I say it couldn't be beaten?
NOTHING ever printed was invincible, not even Neo Slowking and Sneasel.
Just because it can be beaten doesn't mean it isn't broken.
It's WILDLY broken.

just think a Weavile and a Garchomp Lv X and in theory you could be using charizard* like the old Latias Latios* not that anybody would but you could
