I looked all over the pokemon-tcg.com OP website and didnt find anything. I want to know what the Prize Breakdown is for Cities (if any), States, Regionals, Nationals, Worlds, etc...

Usually for Cities you get 16 boosters and a medal and a bag of craptastic goodies.

States is a box of cards and another bag of craptastic goodies. Oh and a trophy too.

Nationals is a slightly bigger trophy than States, and with a Box of cards and another bag of craptastic goodies.

Oh, yeah. You also get a key ring. It makes winning a big even like States or Cities really worth it. I mean come on. A KEYRING! What other card game would let you win KEY RINGS?!?! That is what I thought. PUSA is obviously down to earth with the concept of prizes.

Oh come on, my son won some Cities last year and we were very happy with the bag and goodies inside. Of course, he loved the cards the most but he proudly carries all his stuff to league, etc. in his Pikachu bag. Remember, these are free events. Your prize could be a handshake and a certificate printed off a laptop onsite. Any player can use a bag to tote all of their gaming supplies and a binder to store their cards for trading, etc. And though we have way too many notebooks now - we have used them to write down deck ideas or results of match-ups so that decks can be tweaked and hopefully improved - and we give the extras to friends at school. The extras are just that extras for fun and they are all appropriate for any age. If you happen to win some prizes that you do not want - take them to league because you could really make some kids very happy.

Nahhhh I am just using this topic as an excuse to be synacil and sarcastic. The only things I kept from winning Cities and States were the bags and the trophy/medal and that awesome Frisbee. I think I still have one of the binders...I gave most of it away.

Kruc, you are being quite harsh.

The goodies inside the bags, the hat, the toys, are quite cool.

If you don't want them, and you are a decent person, give them to the 0-4 or 1-3 Junior who is having a "eh" day, and you will make a fan for life!

I always have felt the toys were wasted on the winners. I would rather have them as door prizes.

Kruc obv feels the same way. Just give the winner the packs, and the medal, and spread the wealth for the rest of the loot.

This is NOT saying this is what I am going to do. I will give the prizes out as PUI directs, but I am saying what I could consider a better use of the toyz.

Vince, that it's isn't it. 1st place should be given the trophy/medal, the packs and the bag. Maybe a little bit of something else (Like a Frisbee >:0). The rest, like the Key Rings and Hats and Binders and all that jazz should be given away as lucky door prizes or to other top finishers.

It just feels a bit wrong to be winning an event like that and everyone else gets pretty much squat. So this season I am only going to keep the Trophies and maybe a few packs. (Assuming I win of course -_-). And giving the rest to other people. Coming 1st and getting a bag of stuff, a trophy and 16 packs/a box (depends on Cities or States) whilst the person below you only gets 8 packs or 16 packs (Depends on cities or states) just kind of...Sucks. They put as much hard work and dedication into their deck and pulled out every ounce of their effort to get as far as they did.

And you can quote me on this, cause I am going to say it, and I am not going to go back on it. Everything I win, bar the Trophy/Medal and Frisbee (providing they give one away this year >:0) I will give to other people. Heck, even if I don't come first, I will still hand out my packs to other people.

that frisbee was so cool...
im known in utah for stealing all of the erasers on the pencils a couple years ago at states, so no one could erase anything, it was chaos and now whenever i win stuff i dont get pencils.
