So, I saw the classic Feraligatr d-Nidoqueen d run against me at BR's, and I got an idea. I decided to throw in Rayquaza, and came up with this:

Pokemon 25:
4 Totodile d
2 Croconaw d
4 Feraligatr d
3 Nidoran f d
2 Nidorina d
3 Nidoqueen d
3 Rayquaza ex d
4 Holon's Castform

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums 20:
4 Rare Candy
3 Windstorm
2 Memory Berry
3 Holon Adventurer
3 Bebe's Search
4 Holon Mentor
1 Castaway

Energy 15:
4 d Rainbow
2 Double Rainbow
2 Boost
3 Special :metal:
4 :lightning

So, yeah, this is a pretty simple deck. Start with Holon's, Delta Draw 'til he dies (Or I'm set up) get out 1 or 2 Queen d's to search, grab 'til I've got at least 3 Feraligatr's. Earlier game, use Queen to beat the crud out of everything, then, late game, if it gets to a late game, quickly charge Rayquaza ex d, and, using Gatr's Rage Aura, beat down everything FTW.

You could just remove Queen and Castform, add Pinsir d and more supporters and call it a day.

Pinsir d only gets donked by Ape, and that's fairly uncommon nowadays.

Pinsir > Castform

Edit: Also needs Warp Point.

You're running WAY too many donkable Basics right now (12) You'll have far fewer (4) if you take my advice.

The thing about Queen, though, is that Vengeance is awesome, and with its ability to abuse Special:metal:, as well as Battle Aura, she is too good to pass up! Plus, Pinsir let's me search one card at a time, while Holon's draws multiple cards, assuming my bench allows it, as well as providing energy.

maybe some buffer pieces for nidoqueen to reduce more with metal energy and oh dear, use 4 boost!!!!

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

oh dear use 4 boost, also, use some buffer pieces to reduce more with the help of special metal energy

Usually, I don't need boost, so no on it, however, I actually have been considering throwing in Buffer Piece, but every time I think about it, it basically changes the run of the deck from being more offensive, to defensive (Or at least that's how it seems). I only run the Special :metal:, 'cause Queen can abuse it.

You need scramble in a bad way. Scramble energy is what makes this deck run so well.

-4 basic lightning
+4 scramble

You also need 4 special metals.

-1 boost
+1 metal (special)

You also want 1 less Ray ex, since ex's are so fragile in this format and you don't want to get caught starting with it too much. You also want 3 Croconaw because when you're setting up using invitation, you can get those and setup more consistently and quickly.

-1 Ray ex
+1 Croconaw

You also need Mentor over Rosanne's in this since you really don't want to be running any basic energy. Memory Berry is also way too situational and isn't worth it in this, the space can be better used. Castaway doesn't do you much good without tools or energy either. Use something that can get you Rayquaza that isn't a supporter (like dual ball),

-1 Castaway
-2 Rosanne's
-2 Memory Berry
+2 Mentor
+3 Dual Ball

Also, remember that Battle Aura doesn't help Ray when he is attacking the bench, just the active.

This deck has been running around for a LONG time, Cut the Nidoqueen Line for Meganium δ, it is sooooo good in this deck!!!

I like queen more than Meg, 'cause she searches, but has an incredible attack. All Meg really has is defense.
They both do the same thing but, IMO. Meganium you get more out of it. Also, considering that there are a ton of Blissey running around, Meganium can ko it with Lake Boundary and and strength charm or Gator's power. They both are good but I really like Meganium's attack much more than Nidoqueen. Meganium>Nidoqueen!!!

I was thinking about teching in a Crystal Shard, and adding in a Warp Point and/or switch. However, I don't know what I would take out.

I'd rather use a pachirisu (when he comes out) or a diff starter. Sure, delta draw is cool, but with no transceiver, no researcher, faster opponents, etc. a double weakness to fighting with 50hp as a set-up pokemon who relies on an energy attachment AND that your bench be filled with SPECIFIC pokemon.

On top of that all, he is susceptible to TGW.

Dude, I am taking advice, I'm just not going to run Meganium. I'm going to take most of HurricaneWarty's advice, I just hadn't given the deck any testruns yet. Now that I have, I'll consider all his advice, and I'll change it up some. Also, should I run any PlusPowers?
