I asked to see the back of the card.
That should help me determine if it's real of fake.

Not saying the seller made a fake, but he might have gotten one without knowing it.

See, I would have a hard time thinking it is fake, mostly because the seller has a 100% positive feedback rating with 275 or so feedback.

If it was real, it means that there is a whole sheet like that.
Why would no one have heard about it until now?
I asked for a scan of the back.
He put it up.
Looking at it, I see it is one of those counterfeits.
I'm not saying he made it or knows that it's fake.
He probably is selling in good faith.

I think I have heard of the error before, I believe there was one up a while back when PK first came out. I am about 95% positive this is a real error.

Well, this is the biggest community of Pokemon collectors online.
This is a group where dozens of members have the base set Wartortle error.

Does anyone on the Gym have this error card?
Not heard of it, but actually have it.
 
The value of this guy is about a nickel. Since it is obviously a fake now, it is basically worthless. Oh, and one time on eBay I found another fake card from Power Keepers, it was Flygon ex non-holo. This must be one of the more commonly counterfeited set =/

Look how the Copyright symbol and words 2007 are blurrier than anything else on the bottom of the card.

Fake... look at the energys simbols... it happen in a lot of fakes, the Collorless "Star" its too big for the circle. Also the back looks like fake.

Like said, colorless energy symbols star is too big. All of the energy symbols are too big. The cards name (Combusken) looks like it has the same font as the real cards but look at the spaces between the letters. Too wide. And either the seller had a bad scanner or the cards colors are way off balance.

My opinion? Fake. (Or someone come and prove otherwise)
 
Yeah, I noticed the energy symbols too when I relooked at it later, but I had already emailed him by then
 
I think it is funny how somebody actually bid on it. So, I guess its value is $.99 + shipping from a foreign country :lol:. I was wrong.about saying a nickel.... so far it is worth about 20 times my prediction :nonono: -and that is not even considering the shipping costs!

i have one of the cards i found it and was wondering if it was a fake or not so i looked it up i also have another charmeleoon card which says evolves from vulpix was that another mistake or a fake i think im gonna look it up but im beting its a fake
