RING OF DOOM!!! lolz yea one of my friends said his friend just brought a 360 and already got the rings. It basically means call microsoft to get the 360 fixed XD

Yep, other ones are:

Shadowrun(Can play with Windows Vista players)
Viva La Pinata (Looks childish, but I've heard an exceptional amount of good things about it,prob find it cheap too)
Guitar Hero 2+3(Online play for 3, downloadable content,ect.)
Skate. (Good skateboard game)
Naruto:Rise of a Ninja(so-so by alot of reviews,but it does offer online play and is a good fan game)
Army Of two (Shooter that involves heavily relying on a team mate) this Feb.
Bioshock (Incredible game,must have for any 360 owner,try the demo via the market place)
Dead Rising (Zombie killer where everything is a weapon)

See, 360 is more than a bunch of random shooters.

If you're into racing games, I suggest Project Gotham 4. You can get PGR3 for a pretty low price as well. They're both really great games.
 
I mainly play online fps games, so here's my extremely narrow recommendation list. lol

Halo 3: Utterly amazing, and there's a good lot of Pokegymmers who have that and XBL, and they're all cool (have yet to play with EricNance, though. He plays too much FFA. lol)
Shadowrun: If developer Fasa Studios didn't make a huge mistake in wasting mad cash on cross-platform play with Vista, they could have spent more money on advertisement and random in-game stuff that would attract more people. The game is DEEP and exemplifies 'teamwork", but it wasn't really all that hot of a seller, so the fanbase is kinda small. Also note that Fasa Studios went under soon after this game went to stores, so there'll never be any downloadable content (DLC). It's probably the most difficult game on my list, but that makes every kill that much more rewarding. (Also, your stats aren't tracked: Unless there's some third-party site I'm unaware of, you'll never know your overall k/d ratio or total wins, etc.)
Call of Duty 4: My current favorite game, just because I'm kinda tired of Halo (been playing it online since Halo 2 came out). It's hard at first, as you don't unlock really good weapons until you get gain some levels, but the ones you get are serviceable and can easily get you kills. It also has a nice Single-Player campaign. In-game stat tracking, too.

Another controller would be nice if you have anyone else in the family or friends to play it with.

no its not all it basically is is a bunch of random shooters lolz BUT ITS GREAT AT IT!!!! *playing halo 3 while typing this*

get halo 3! lolz its a lot like 2 but its improvements are enough to buy it and while live so yea lolz Bioshock, halo 3 and gears r the must have. Get guitar hero 3 if it seems interesting to you, assasin creed rent it before you buy it you may have a few issues with it i kinda did. Have fun when you get your 360!! lolz
 
I disagree, the 360 has some very exceptional non-shooter games. True,the 360 is usually associated with shooters,but it does have alot of great action/adventure games.
 
dont say great :-( lolz if it did i wouldnt have a problem getting a non fps for the 360 now :-( They have a bunch of average games, but if you are getting the 360 never playing any xbox games then we have a whole different subject lolz 360 has just come out with at best average non fps, non bias as im hoping to see some great adventure games coming out for it, great not average. Mean time im content with my FPS, old xbox games that i brought when i got the 360, and sports games.

So in short, 360 best games or FPS if you want adventure games look at the original xbox library as they have an exceptional underated library
 
well lawlz I think they are quite great lawlz, such as oblivion and assassin's creed, and lawlz don't forget about kameo, also lawlz the new prince of persia is coming out for it so like I don't see what's the problem with all of those lawlz great games lawlz.

I get a lot of mix reactions to it as well. Fact that you brought up 3 games which only 1 can you currently say is great that came out in a difference of a 2 year span in which it was all rps says something alone.

Btw "great" means like Ninja Gaiden, Knights of the old republic, **** even psychonauts. All which i highly recommend if you havent played them yet. KOTOR WUV <3

Two Words for you: Mass Effect. This was done by the people who did KOTOR and is an excellent game. I highly recommend it.
