Witch of this two is better. They both have the strength to spread damage. Empoleon nothing bad to say there the card speaks for it self. In the other hand Flygon ex d thanks to the previews release of vibrava in the latest it has given flygon more power all you need to do is do only once the vibravas attack and flygon can do searius more damage. In my opinion flygon is beter atacker than empoleon and it has more hp. But on like empoleon he cant use scrambles or dre and when its ko they take 2 prizes, empoleon is more search able than flygon, and Flygon has a beter type than empoleon it can ko Mario other lucario base decks.
Who do you guys think is better?

Flygon ex d works great in a delta species based deck. I have never played Empoleon because I don't find it so special. But, the deck R-Gon has worked very well for me. Fearow searches for Pokemon. Exeggutor snipes. Castform draws. Flygon d acceles energy. Flygon ex d.... it just pwns with its superior power. So, I guess I like Flygon ex d + his standard partners better than Empoleon. Empoleon doesn't really have any GREAT partners at this time, Flygon ex d has several!

They are good in there own ways, however I think right now Empoleon is better, however last year, Flygon Ex d was.

Usually if your attack with Vibrava there might be something wrong, so even with the new Vibrava, (which you wouldnt never play in that deck), Empoleon is better right now.

it's like 51- 49 in empoleon's favor b/c it's not an ex. the lx x isnt that great, the flygon line has better types(even if magmortar becomes a tier 1 or 2 deck), flygon ex can use memory berry and the other flygons

Empoleon works better in this format especially when combined with cloyster

Ahhhhhh no.

Empoleon is better now because priplup only takes one :water: to do 10 to every one. And for only 1 :water: and 1:colorless: 40 to anything that allready has damege on it. Then for 1 :water: and 1 :colorless 40 to any one. Then 2 :water: and 1:colorless 70 and flip to do 20 more to any one. And empoleon can be used with some good parters like Lucario, Blissy? and mantine(MT).

But flygon was better last season becuase of holon help.

u mean for 2 water prinpulp does 40 to anything with damage on it. Either way is good, its just Empoleon can use DREs and Cessation. Honestly Flygon δ Ex is still playable I mean it has no weakness and has energy accel on its side. Then Vibrava SW only helps it this format, it spreads for one turn then evolve then Pulse them to death. Even Flygon SW isnt bad for a damage spreading deck like Royality.

ONly reason people dont play the deck is cause its an Ex and they are sorta afraid of a castform start and getting donked possibly which is stupid cause thats what T2 decks do.

in reality i was playing the deck and it does need to set up with casty you just can do turn 3 flygon or just do a vibrava attack and stall for your flygon ex d.and then flygon ex does 80 and 10 to everybody with damege counter and it can be really deadly because in the second attack flygon attacks every pokemon is on ko hit and if they ko your flygon just bring back the second flygon to sweep up

Yea...pretty much, Jolty */Absol Ex/Ray δ Ex helps clean up also, Absol setups up Multi Kos,Ray helps spread and Jolty* gives that little boost until the Zapdos GE comes out, then he will replace Jolty*

Flygon ex: The Sand Damage Poké-Body places a damage counter on each of your opponent's benched basic Pokémon between turns. Psychic Pulse deals 80 damage and 10 to your opponent's benched Pokémon already having damage counters. It has no weakness. Flygon ex has zero retreat cost if you have Phoebe's Stadium in play.

Empoleon: Ice Blade is useful for hitting on one of your opponent's benched Pokémon, specifically one that is within 40 HP of being knocked out. It is similar and effective compared to the level up's Hydro Impact with half the damage, one less Energy cost, and tha chance to attack next turn. Aqua Jet works more effectively on the defending Pokémon dealing 70 damage, then a chance to deal 20 damage to an opponent's benched Pokémon.

Both Pokémon are consistent hitters against defending Pokémon and inflict damage to opponent's benched Pokémon in different ways.
