Blissey + Absol

ive heard alot of people have been making top cut with this deck and I was wondering how exactly it works.

You act like theres some complex strategy behind it. Absol and Blissey are just the two best cards, and people put them together.

Great synergy between high-energy and low-energy attacks.

What?

Blissey has only 1 energy attacks.
Absol has only 1 energy attacks.

How is there any high-energy attack costs in the deck? Chansey's double edge?

The deck works because people stuck the two best cards together. It's how lucario/blissey one. There's no real strategy or anything.

Happy chance needs a few energies to do decent damage. Generally, you want lots of energy on Bliss unlike Absol.

Get what I mean?

I built it a while back when I got my hands on some Absols. I thought it was okay, but it took away from the early attacking of Blissey (a problem I had with Banette/Absol too) and totally didn't cover the deck's total weakness to fighting. I always have a Lucario variant built at home and the deck just couldn't stand up to Lucario with fighting weakness.

But it's a decent idea. I am sure the deck in the hands of a skilled player could do well with it. What did it win?

There really is not much synergy. In my deck, I plan to add Sableye -my deck currently plays Weavile, Blissey, and Absol. When you throw Weavile into the picture, it adds some synergy to the deck since it can power up anybody in the deck, and it also has an attack that discards cards!

I think it won my first Cities. In my deck thread, I tried to cover how the battle against it went. I have conformation that it at least took second. I am guessing it was a mirror match. It mad three out of four spots in the top four. I am very bitter about this, my deck went 3-1, but I missed the top cut !

Absol's just nuts. And Blissey's already good. However, I think the deck does better with Weavile in it.

Do typical lists run Mars? Haven't seen any yet.

With Absol, Mars is rather amazing (-3 cards per turn? Yes, please). Iono specifically if Blissey/Absol would play it, but I'd be shocked if it didn't.

I wouldn't put the Absol Ex in, to start with it would be ..... bad. I've seen one Abbliss win a city and another make it to the final two, both ran 4 mars, 4 tvr, 4 Cielo, and sprinkle to taste with switches and warp points (at least 2 each). Seems like the hardest part of the deck to get ahold of these days is all the basic dark energy (also run 3-4 boost and 4 special dark)

What would be good with 4 absol sw and 4 absol ex? I would like to find something to work with these.

I have actually built a deck with crows and absol, but added blisseys recently as a test and it works well

I understand, but it says in the rule book you can run 4 regulars and 4 ex's of the same card, hence 4 absol SW and 4 absol EX! Right?
