There were a dozen rulings tonite, if you count the revised errata notices... & PUI has a new errata for Electrode!

Still waiting for a ruling? You can see that we're working on it with the "Pending Ask the Master's Questions" link.

Looking for all the rulings from this week's meeting? Check the "Compendium Updates" forum.

Want to get all 135 pages of the Compendium Ex? You can have view or download it in HTML, PDF or iSilo format for your PDA or computer.

Have a question or comment about the Compendium itself (NOT a rulings question, post rulings questions in the Ask the Masters forum), you can reply to this thread!

Question: Why did you title this thread "Baker's Dozen" when you said you made a dozen rulings. Last I heard, a baker's dozen was a dozen + 1 = 13. Just thought I'd point that out :thumb:!

Regardless, great work! Thanks for it!

when you will seperate the ex cards from the dp ones? thx

Jason - thanks for your interest in our next project.

Firstly, that's not exactly the goal for Compendium LVX, we're more aiming to 1) trim size by removing the specialty rulings for cards no longer in modified (if you need the ruling for unlimited, it will be in C. EX) and 2) add some features, such as metarulings. In the process I hope to clean up some of the anachronisms re: gameplay (e.g. it is no longer an exception to the rule that Baby Evolution works when the card is affected by a special condition), whereas in 2003, that was 'special'.

Secondly, as to timetable, I think all of TC will tell you that life gets in the way of some of the non-routine goals of our volunteer work. This is starting to affect me a bit as well. So, I think setting a date is not an option. Watch this space is all I can say.

Cheers,
Kim

Heh, you noticed that, did you. I love Mike's metric Baker's dozen answer , but really it's a crypto-Baker's dozen. I put a little extra into this posting and well, out of necessity, there's another sense in which this group of rulings exceeds a boundary... but I don't want to skyline myself, so I won't point it out.

Every time I think I understand pokémon, along comes a ruling like Cloyster to suprise and confuse. I wonder what errata may come out of the next set? Probably end up with a Leafeon specifying cards over energy or the other way around.
