They have just re-released Pokemon Snap on the Virtual Console. They also added a feature that will let you post the pictures on to your Wii Message Board.

they are also adding a feature later today on the wii shop channel that lets you buy games on the virtual console to send to other players as holiday gifts

""Later in the day on Monday, Nintendo will make your holiday shopping just a little bit easier. If some people on your gift list have visions of classic video games dancing in their heads, you're in luck. Starting this week, Wii Shop Channel patrons can use a new Gifting feature to send games to other Wii owners with whom they've traded Friend Codes. It's an easy and inexpensive way to give your fellow Nintendo buffs the gift of a classic game—no wrapping paper required. And don't worry about duplication. If your friend already has the game you're trying to give, you'll get a simple message and be bumped back into the catalog to continue shopping.""

That is cool! I loved Pokemon Snap! It was such a unique game! That is cool how you can take the photos onto the message board!

But I don't know about spending $10 for a game I already have. =/

The Wii Shop Channel isn't working for me :[ So lame.

It was quite a unique game, and the new feature is really cool. Nintendo should work on it so you can use the Wiimote, and send an update to everyone who bought it.

I know! It'd probably end up the one of the best selling virtual console game. But it'd probably end up one of the best selling ones anyway.

That is what I REALLY wanted to see in that game! It could have worked out so nicely!
Now that would just put the icing on the cake for me getting a Wii (besides Warioware Smooth Moves, SSBB and Super Mario Galaxy of course). Snap was my favorite of all the games related to the Pokemon franchise, and it really depressed me when I had to sell it along with my N64 in order to get my Gamecube. But progress is progress. If it was on Wii though, that would be da bomb yo.

But it just wouldn't be the same game playing it while using a "Classic" Controller or GameCube Controller. I liked the feel of that N64 controller with the Z trigger button shutter action man!

I would love it if they made a Snap game that you could hold the wiimote in front of you like an actual camera. That -or- the point and shoot. It'd settle for a wii only download game, like the pokemon ranch coming out or FF Crystal Chronicles: The Little King.
Heh. That or, just for kicks, that DS Pokemon fishing game you could download at that one pokemon event in Japan. Download it to the DS through the Wii.

Just out of curiosity, any differences in the game? Or am I better off just plugging in my N64 to play Pokemon Snap?
