4 Dark Special

Strategy:

my major beat down combo is to bounce between :colorless Dexoy's charge laser to :dark: Deoxy's energy loop to usually 2hko any PKMN. its majorly trainer based to keep speed up. Since you can't really start with Deoxys since all of there attacks or 2 energies i have absol to start of with control and sable for set up.

or heres a list with Weavile

13 PKMN
4 Deoxys D (2:colorless,2:dark:)
3 Absol SW
2 Sneasel
2 Weavile SW
2 Unkown E

3 Dusk/Quick Ball
1 Great Ball
2 Warp Point
3 Buffer Pieces

9 Dark
4 Dark Special

the weavile is useful for set up deoxys faster and letting my normal ones to get the boost from SP Darkness

I see the idea but how does it do against infernape? you may not want potion use more speed and you dont have to worry

this deck list hasn't been played with, i wrote it up after looking at the legal deoxys that we still have. i dropped a potion for a 3rd great ball but i think potion it very usefull since i'm basically using the same deoxys over and over so healing is keeping the combo strong

Interesting choice of strategy. I'm worried a bit about Absol/Gardevoir combo though. You have quite a few supporters for the opponent to discard - then use themselves. What's your strategy then? Fortunately the Deoxys finds the opposite, then it's simple to get rid of Absol, but it may slow you as well.

no one in my meta runs absol/gardevoir, its mostly garde and gallade (happy family)

cyclone go get absol off the bench and ohko it

cyclone would be cool tech, i'll look into getting a few

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

anyone else?

How about dropping the potions for quick balls. This deck would probably have an advantage when you can get the few pokemon you have in a faster manner.

there all basics so i only need great ball

and like i've already said, since deoxys retain the same damage counters, to keep the combo for as long as possible removing them is much more useful

i have yet to play with deck however so i can give a better list because i will know how it plays better

i'd rather not use NM on it (since i would probably have a dexoys, and energy and another poke or energy when i first want to use it anyways)

but i'm still in the testing phase so i'll look into getting it to test it

i think this deck might work it has a ton of potenial but test play against your weakness

I would change the great balls for Dual Balls
Make all the tools Buffer Piece.
Add in the unown that adds 10 hp in place of the potion.
Think of Birch instead of Stevens - You should have a very small hand size.

i'll look in to that

i'm going to Artifex (comic book store) tommarow so i'll get as many cards as possible over the next few days then buy the rest that i need, and i plan on proxying for play testing to i can update my list by at least Sunday night with experiance of the deck

Have you tried using crystal laser, then using L deoxys to retreat to the bench for a different pokemon?

You do 30 with laser (40 next turn). You should put a buffer on to guarantee living, then switch to the lightning guy, hit for 60 for L and move to the bench. You can send up something like gyarados who can take a hit and then return it for harsh consequences.

Also, I like unown E too =X Or at least buffer pieces.

at least people agree with me and you only need 2 unown E you need other stuff and there is recyclers so you dont need to worry as much
