I couldn't be more proud of you bro, and I'm glad Team Apex was finally able to overcome this slump we've had. You proved you weren't just a one-trick pony (Blaziken) and could play with any deck. As I say, it's not the deck, but the player that wins championships. Let's give 'em hell at...
You can expect Team Apex to be there at Cedar Grove. But what I find interesting to note is that all the boasters who hyped themselves up for the NY State Championships are surprisingly absent from this thread. Perhaps a poor showing deterred their previously arrogant messages? Nonetheless, I...

^ Actually the chances of starting with a Sparce if you only run 4 of them as your basics is 6.7%. (Mulligan, anyone?) So yes, the chances of starting with Sparce in your opening hand are roughly 47%
^You still have yet to solidify a reason as to not play Swoop. By just adding *ONE* Swoop, you increase the % of a Sparce to 58. I don't like putting lists up on the net, but what I can tell you is that I still have an amazing amount of draw and reasonable tech for the metagame in my environment...
You can easily tech in one without having to sacrifice speed. The benefits far outweigh any negatives that come from putting just *one* Swoop. Drag NEEDS to start with Sparce turn 1 if it wishes to compete with RockLock.
Throw in 1 Swoop Teleporter and your chances of starting with a Dunsparce on your opening hand (Assuming that you start with at least 1 random basic) increase to 58%. However, those are very good odds considering if you run the Voltorb with the "Floating Electrons" poke body, turn 2 you can...
