Video Game has a side board already. TCG side board would destroy the viability of many decks completely. Make better decisions with your deck. This isn't Magic. Pokemon's gameplay is completely different.

Just an additonal rule to clarify for the VG tournament, the Pokémon you use must have been bred or captured in Pokémon X or Y (easily checked by seeing if a blue pentagon is present on the stats screen). Hope to see you all there! Event was run great last year!

Pretty sure the bigger slap in the face is losing a game because you had 3 minutes to play and your opponent took a prize before you on Turn 1.

I own 0 Beach but as I'm active in both my local community and some other Pokemon communities I'm sure I could borrow some if I really, really wanted to. I just haven't needed it for a single deck I've ever played in a tournament.
