The pokemon count isn't really that bad. If there is 60 cards in your deck and 10 of them are basic pokemon, odds are bound to get you a pokemon at least 1 every 6 cards. I wouldn't mind laser, but I really don't want to run virbank city gym because I have to worry about blastoise in my area...

i would use the ambipom from triumphant over the houndoom. it's first attack for a double colourless does 20 damage and you choose 2 random cards from their hand and shuffle them into your opponents deck.
