Adult's reasons called marketing because they know they'll still get enough profit withe the quality deck they sell today plus it lure people to spend more money to buy packs so they can pull the good cards rather than give it away through starter decks.

That was me by the way. Last year one of my friend top cut FL states with speedrill though, so I'm sure if you build a solid list and have an idea of the basic metas, you'll be fine

I live in FL, South and North FL meta is slightly different though, So my advice is just go simple and just build a solid deck and you'll be fine. Ppl who knows me well knows that what I just said is true. Honestly: this thread is bit pointless IMO.

Sadly the Japanese Leafeon VS Metagross deck's server was shut down last year, so they can't really use it anymore, but that system was amazing, they even made ranks/tournament with that program to give out the top players the invite to Japanese Nationals. I mainly hope that they somehow expand...
