Nope he was using some weird deck with Gardevoir I think. Was pre-DP so it wasn't Plox, but I can't remember when it was. He accutally had like 7 basics too which made it... weird.

PLAY AT LEAST ONE! At my nationals I ended up facing Flychamp in top 8 and I only had one Unown G (which was put in the discard pile fast) and no Lucario. If you have a bad start it is very hard to win vs a Tomb start when he OHKOs everything you have and you can't OHKO him.

I would say that Quagsire GL is the best tech. He's SP so it's easy to get him into play and back from the discard pile, you can switch to a crobat which has -20 res. to fighting, Donphan can really only kill him using a Reversal and he's good with Luxray GL lv. X if you're planning to use Flash...
