Are there any budget decks that are viable for tournament play? My wife and I are looking to get back into the game after missing much of the last season.

Personally, I would like Platinum Rampardos, as well as Cranidos and the Fossil. That was probably my favorite deck due to the sheer speed and power. And with the new fighting type enhancer cards, that deck would be a beast!

Unfortunately, the tool stays unless a card says otherwise. Tool Scrapper and Masquerain are some options if you are interesting in changing tools.
