Sorry, but I think the majority of posters in the thread haven't adapted well to the new format changes. I've had 12 games of 50+3 and never once had a tie. It comes down to few changes. Firstly, learning to play quicker. Being able to search your deck quicker and shuffle faster obviously helps...

I suspect the Mega Evolutions will top 300hp during its lifetime. Anything more, then things will start to get out of hand.

If I'm not happy with my opponents shuffling, then a cut is not going to make me feel any better. Especially when a deck can be stacked in all kinds of advantageous ways throughout the game.

That blows my mind why anyone would ever decide to host regionals in Glasgow. Given that league has only recently become active. I can only see it as being out of touch or self interest.

Its fair to expect the first batch of mega evolutions will be underwhelming, but rest assured in a few sets time. You'll be putting yourself at a disadvantage if you don't play them.

Getting a playable supporter is a step in the right direction. While I don't expect EX to be given away as promos, I do expect some decent rares from time to time like Garbodor (ability), Suicune or Masquerain.

Luxray GL and Garchomp C didn't seem that impressive despite having a high amount of HP. However, you can bet their powered up forms will be broken, and that there will be no reason not to play them. Much like the Level X's. It wouldn't surprise me if one of the mega forms topped 300hp.
