imo articles like this should only end up dissuading people from playing vvv. it encourages people to play espeon or cure. I think people showing up to nats with a status lock deck are going to be in for a rude awakening when they realize they have been out teched.

Yep I agree. Pretty much everyone at our league (15-20 people) will be teching umbreon or unown cure/seeker. It's actually not bad at all because some decks really benefit from call for family and other decks really benefit from seeker. Even if you don't need to use it on cure it's a surefire...

You can't camp out there all weekend. I know at nationals some kid fell asleep in the 24-hour gaming room and the convention center called security or the cops on him because they thought he was trying to stay there all weekend.
States, depending on where you're from, isn't really a huge deal. Same goes for regionals. I'll admit that I didn't see his Nationals win. However, listing missing top cut is pretty funny. I also was immediately put off by his ego.
