I started this on a Dutch forum, but I figured I'd probably have a larger chance of completing this here ;)

Seniors

Arnoud played Giratina/Electrode/Gardevoir and had the bad luck to run into the only dark deck in top 8.

So . . . for Masters top cut that's . . .

18 Luxchomp
3 Vilegar w/ Lost World
3 Sablelock
3 Gyarados variants (including Mew/Gyarados)
1 Machamp
1 Dialgachomp
1 Magnezone/Machamp/Regirock
1 Gigas
1 Vilegar

17 Morten G. (DK) 8-1 Magnezone/Machamp

I played magnezone regirock. No machamp

You used regirock and fighting energies as energy fuel for not just magnezone prime attack but also synergy with junk arms and engineer adjustments? Interesting...

4 Carl H. (SE) 5-3 Mightyena LA/Honchkrow SV/ Vileplume UD

Don't know who said he was playing LuxChomp lol :p

Oh, I just assumed, since if I wrote down LuxChomp, I'd have the biggest change of getting it right, haha. Too much LuxChomp ;) But I actually knew he was playing Mightyena, because my friend Olaf lost to him in the T8. Must've slipped my mind :)

Anyway, I updated the first post with all your input, thanks a lot! There's just 2 decks I'm missing now: Nico from Germany, and the player from Hungary.

I know the top 32 is filled with Luxchomp, but it is interesting to look at the top 5 of Seniors and Masters. Only 3 Luxchomp out of 10 decks. Even if you look at the top 8 in both divisions there are only 6 out of 20. I'm not trying to say that Luxchomp is not a excellent deck, but its certainly not unbeatable.

It makes you wonder if some of Luxchomp's dominance is not due to how many people choose to play it, as opposed to its superiority as a deck. If everyone showed up playing Luxchomp then every deck in the top 32 would be Luxchomp!
