I think it's not played as much because manetric does such a good job at hitting pokeon with powers, while also protecting the bench. It kind of took starmie's only chance of being in power hitting decks.

I'd also say quick ball is a widely used card. If you have only 1 or 2 different lines of pokemon, it can be a great card. Also, play either cynthia's feelings or rowan's research. They refresh your hand easily without counting on pokepowers.

Mismagius stormfront is a great 1-1 tech. It lets you discard as many tools as you like from all of your opponent's pokemon.

What if you were wanting to play a deck that relied on bodies, you think it would stand any chance at states?

I came up with this really cool "engine", I guess. It uses cyrus to get cards that add to my attack, like crobat, poke turn, buck, etc. I thought it would be a good use for cresslia lx. It wouldn't be hard to do 90 with cresslia lx's last attack and grab 2 prizes with a 1hko of an sp pokemon...

That was my question: since mewtwo's body is shut off by dialga g lx, is mewtwo useless against sp pokemon(because dialga is usually a tech on the bench)

I did, thanks. Mewtwo lx prevents all effects of attacks done to it by non evolved pokemon, and dialga's body prevents all non sp pokebodies. Unless I'm missing something ...

The damage can add up, but cresslia is hard to get out. If you do get out cresslia lx, 20 if they evolve 10 for cresslia 40 with honchkrow. 70 for 1 is pretty good, even if rare candy gets around hq sometimes. Which would be better, crobat ofr cresslia? cresslia is very consistant...

Would this be a good deck to build? Galactic hq does 20 to any evolved pokemon, and cresslia puts damage on sp pokemon. Honchkrow should be able to do 40 for 1 with energy gain. Put in a crobat for that suprise 10 to any pokemon.

One thing that keeps this from being a good card: Skuntank's power is the only way to play it, and it doesn't effect sp pokemon. That means almost every lx in the next 2 sets will destroy this deck. Not good. 5/10
