    So, what does NV change?

How does yanmega 'wreck havoc' on feraligatr? Yanmega doesn't apply weakness...

Why dont Card shops host Pokemon leagues and tournaments?

Here in Australia, every league and tournament is held in a card store. This is a proper card store, selling most TCGs, none of this baseball/sports card crap lol. Only tournament not held in a card store is nationals.

    Type Speculation: Steel Re-emerging?

Cryogonal is not catcher bait, he has 80HP. putting him out of range of a Donphan earthquake, even with a plus power. His attack guarentees a ko on donphan, and while he is ko'd back, all you lost was a basic while they lost a donphan. Every donphan that is taken down improves the matchup...

Noble Victories Scans and three new Dark Rush cards

Even against donphan, Darkrai won't be KO'd most of the time, as they will be using earthquake. That's only 120 to Darkrai. Next turn, you can retreat for free, play max potion or seeker, and no harm done. Also if you attach eviolite to darkrai, Donphan is pretty useless. Not to mention...

Noble Victories Scans and three new Dark Rush cards

Why would they split HB/PD? We are getting 15-18 of those cards in NV, that leaves around 96 in those sets. This would fit very nicely into our February set. I see no reason for TPCi to make us even further behind Japan than we already are. The Dark Rush and Dragon Collection along with...

Noble Victories pre-realease card and also the Regionals promo!

    Lucario isn't a legendary, unfortunately.

    Landorus

The only downside terrakion has is that huge 4 retreat cost. In that regard, Landorus is better. In terms of countering zekrom, they are both about even, esp with eviolite. All Terrakion has going for it is the revenge attack, but that can be played around quite easily due to its FC attack...

Restoring skill to the Pokemon TCG

Might wanna mention that you are talking about Japan, could be a bit misleading otherwise.

    First three Noble Victories cards

Doesn't make sense to delay them, when they could just release them here and have their FA's done and dusted. Delaying them means dedicating 6 slots for them next set, and they would be out of place with the hail blizzard/psycho boost cards that will probably be in the next set (likely, but not...

Restoring skill to the Pokemon TCG

I think espeon means in best 2 out of 3 games, where if the ZPS player scoops 1 game, he automatically forfeits the whole match.

    What's Wrong with this Format?

More like $100 tropical beaches. $200 is far too much for it. . .

Swanna BW and retreating/shifting to bench

I have a rulings question about Swanna BW (the feather dance one): Say I use feather dance on my turn, and then my opponent uses pokemon catcher to move swanna to the bench and replace it it with a different pokemon. Does this then mean that the increasing damage by 40 on swanna is stopped as...

    What's Wrong with this Format?

The whole agents and yanmega comparison is a bit invalid imo, as investing in some yanmega's (say 3 for $100 or so) allows you to splash them in numerous decks, such as Stage 1's, megazone, mew lock etc. Whereas agents are only their own deck, you can hardly use them in other decks (the major...

    What's Wrong with this Format?

Japan is in BW~ on, ever since worlds.

    Top 4 Cut

Yes they were last year, but now they aren't. However, we still have ZPS in our format, and probably still will next format, unless Shaymin gets rotated out, which may or may not happen. I'm just saying that TPCi splitting up our sets and adding filler and whatnot isn't good for the game.

    Top 4 Cut

Just so you know, it was never intended for Zekrom, Pachirisu and Shaymin to be in the same format, and it certainly isn't Japan's fault. They are playing in a BW~ on format, which eliminates tyrogue, pachirisu and shaymin, hence completely balancing out zekrom and the format. It is TPCi's...

That's too much money for that card!!

Buying an Emboar tin wouldn't solve anything, as you get the bad boar in them, not the ability one that is required to make a functioning Reshiboar deck.

is there anywhere to see how many championship points u got?

Likely to be in the coming week or two actually, based on what the TPCi guys have said (In the CP thread on the front page).

Reshiram EX, Zekrom EX, and 2 new trainers

Just so you know, it's only Reshiram EX that has the coin flip to avoid recoil, Zekrom just states to discard 2 energy.

New Hail Blizzard Psycho Drive scans

To be fair, grass is getting more support in this set than fire, what with shaymin EX, leavanny, skyarrow bridge which makes celebi prime playable etc. If anything, fire is weakened from this set due to all the water pokemon being released.
