    Pinsir 1st edition Error

That is odd. I wonder what caused them?

    Pinsir 1st edition Error

That is interesting. Did you buy them from the same seller or store?

    Pinsir 1st edition Error

It looks like the card is just torn so you can see the holofoil underneath. The scratches on the holo make that the more plausible answer.

    Rare Error Pocket Monster Card

The card was actually "common" in the japanese expansion.

    Rare Error Pocket Monster Card

The most relevant words in this discussion are, "Dark Persian". The font on the name of the card (Dark Persian) is different on this copy than the authentic one from ebay.

    PSA 9 Pokemon Illustrator

It is only per day, but an offer lasts only 48 hours. And I spoke too soon, it is still limited....I thought this was America

    PSA 9 Pokemon Illustrator

Yes, and it is extremely frustrating. Ebay limits messages that are not questions asked by the buyer about an item. For example, when someone makes an offer, and I send them a message to confirm everything with them. Basically insuring that they will pay for the card. Since I have had to...

    PSA 9 Pokemon Illustrator

Today has been a long day! I have had a lot of offers come in. A couple are very good offers. The problem is that I cannot message a few of the people who made an offer as I have exceeded the limit on ebay for the day... When things are finalized I will release the information.

It is worth every penny.

Questions on PSA 10 Shadowless charizard and more

I can second Gary's comment. I had one sell around that amount awhile back. I personally would not bank on the card being a 10. I would go into it thinking that it will realistically earn a 9, and hope it earns a 10. There are a lot of people who think because they preserved a card and did...

I'd assume this is a fake?

Hmm I was sold them under the description they were "Orica" cards, but now I am thinking they were printed and not altered by fans or an individual. I remember someone saying that these were made for kids who couldn't afford the actual cards. They were given out so they could add them to their...

I'd assume this is a fake?

Does anyone know the origin of these cards? I remember buying 2 charizards back in 2009, one of them had this exact same holo design. I was told they were "Orica" cards by the seller.

Pokemon 1st Edition Booster Box Question

My full statement should of been, "People who weigh packs to sell and don't tell their customers, is unethical". Majority of the time, people weigh packs to make the most money. The situations mentioned are ideal but are not the norm. If someone were to say they were weighed, that would make...

    Misprint price!?

In the past 2 years alone at least 10 copies of this error have hit ebay. This includes all 4 examples (pikachu, electabuzz, dragonite, mewtwo). With that said, you should expect at least $150 for yours depending on condition.

What's up with the grading bandwagon?

Actually, William sent me his 5 graded trophy cards because he wanted high quality scans of them. Those were the first PSA cards I held and they influenced me to grade mine. I loved how the cards looked in the case. Since I was looking for a better protection solution, they were the most...

Trader Beware: Why the Post Office is going out of business...

I think the bottom line is that if you want better service you are going to have to pay for it. In the years I have used the USPS, as their rates increased so did their performance. Years ago you did not get full tracking on Express International shipping. Now it is a standard. I had to pay...

Trader Beware: Why the Post Office is going out of business...

USPS is not that bad. I ship thousands of items per year and do not have many significant complaints. We all have had our experiences with disgruntled postal workers. Imagine how happy you would be having to wear those uniforms. The reality of doing things privately is that you are...

Trader Beware: Why the Post Office is going out of business...

At the end of the day the USPS is the best fiscal option. For this hobby, no other company comes close.

Trader Beware: Why the Post Office is going out of business...

They have been saying they will stop Saturday delivery since the 80's. And to the OP, your best bet is using paypal to print your labels. You will not pay as much as you do in person and it is much more convenient.
