I mean, I don't see why there's so much hostile resistance to Swoop Teleporter. It doesn't detract from speed and as others have said before me, it makes the deck much more versatile and is really good in certain situations.

^ Actually the chances of starting with a Sparce if you only run 4 of them as your basics is 6.7%. (Mulligan, anyone?) So yes, the chances of starting with Sparce in your opening hand are roughly 47%

^You still have yet to solidify a reason as to not play Swoop. By just adding *ONE* Swoop, you increase the % of a Sparce to 58. I don't like putting lists up on the net, but what I can tell you is that I still have an amazing amount of draw and reasonable tech for the metagame in my environment...

You can easily tech in one without having to sacrifice speed. The benefits far outweigh any negatives that come from putting just *one* Swoop. Drag NEEDS to start with Sparce turn 1 if it wishes to compete with RockLock.

Throw in 1 Swoop Teleporter and your chances of starting with a Dunsparce on your opening hand (Assuming that you start with at least 1 random basic) increase to 58%. However, those are very good odds considering if you run the Voltorb with the "Floating Electrons" poke body, turn 2 you can...

It seems like a good idea on paper (Especially with Aggron's first attack) but the double weakness (Weak to Grass/Water) kills any chance it has at modified.
