I just wanted to know if rival could be used if there is less than 5 cards in a deck. i would think so just use the new metarules and follow to the best of ones ability but i wanted to check first.

how would a gengar from Lm die with a cessation crystal. would the 3 damage counters still be spread? where as the crystal is not in play? or is my thinking wrong thanks anways!
