Yamato is a fantastic player, but at this level everyone is very good and random cards can take over. It's hard to imagine more a more complete player than Eric C, but the matchups have a large effect.

Yet we wil still have to give you a ride! I was hoping for a more exotic location so we could travel with the invite.

It does not sound east vs West. It sounds more like PoP that follow the rules and those that think they have freedom. There needs to be more consistency in the judging ranks.

I agree totally. If you are in the top cut you should NEVER be allowed to watch other matches. If you are done playing and it does not bother the people still in the tourney though I would like to see it allowed.
