    Reflips with Blunder Policy

I have Blunder Policy attached to an attacking Pokémon and Glimwood Tangle in play. I flip at least 1 tails on the attack and choose to reflip them with Glimwood Tangle. I then get all heads on the reflips. Will I get to draw cards with Blunder Policy because I got some tails or are they...

    Xerneas - Rainbow Force

    1) Are colorless Pokémon considered a 'type' in regards to Xerneas Rainbow Force attack? 2) Will a multitype Pokémon count for two different types of Pokémon? Thanks.

    Battle Compressor for 0?

Can you get 0 cards with Battle Compressor? I was under the impression that you had to pick at least 1 card. Otherwise you would be playing a card for no effect. Also is there no way to look through older questions on PokeGym? I feel like this question has been asked before, but I couldn't...

    New mulligan rules?

With a new section in the XY rules book called 'Full details of taking mulligan' some questions are raised regarding if any rules changed. 1) Since part A says to place active, benched pokémon and prize cards before the the opponent reveals their basic-less hand, does that mean that you can...

    Heal Block and moving dmg

http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=52821 http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=54185 If Bronzong with Heal Block is in play, can I use Beheeyem to move dmg counters to the opponent, or does that count as healing, then placing dmg counters?

    RE: Order of actions

BCR Rulebook: If a player’s Pokémon is Knocked Out, that player puts it and all cards attached to it in the discard pile. That player’s opponent takes 1 of his or her own Prize cards and puts it into his or her hand. The player whose Pokémon was Knocked Out chooses a new Active Pokémon from...

    Allergy Panic - Shred

My opponent has a active Black Kyurem EX with Crystal Wall attached. I use Shred with Rayquaza while Vileplume with allergy panic is in play. Would I do 360 dmg or would I do 180 since the dmg is not affected by effects on the defending pokémon? Thanks : )

    Dowsing Machine vs Junk Arm

PokePop: "Not only can't you play it unless you have a Trainer in your discard pile, once you do play it, you can't use it to get back one of the two cards that you discard for it, even if it's a Trainer." Why is this different from Junk Arm? Q. Can I use Junk Arm, discarding something +...

    RE: Sparkling Particles and phases

Sparkling Particles says that you can use the ability at any time between turns. However the most recent rulebook says to take care of Special Conditions in the following order; Poisoned, Burned, Asleep, Paralyzed. THEN apply the effects of any abilities. Doesn't this imply that the ability...

Attacks not affected by damage or other effects on the defending pokemon

Correction: Sigilyph reads "Prevent all effects of attacks, including damage." So an Entei EX wouldn't be able to Burn sigilyph either. I can't come up with a situation right now, where the difference between the two quotes would make a difference, since those cards I can think of right now...

    Abilities causing 'No effect'

Since you can play Max Potion for no effect when Bronzong is in play, can you also play Rare Candy for no effect when Archeops is in play? To me the explanation given regarding Heal Block/Max Potion also fits in this situation. 'This is a case of there being an effect in place that blocks an...

    2012-10-23 DRX Maractus 016

I think this will become a exciting tech to deal with Keldeo/Blastoise and Terrakion decks. It is one of the best basic grass attackers in the format, but have not shined yet since grass weakness has not been that important to cover. Virizion NV might not rely on a tool and needs only 2...

    Vileplume Boundries Crossed

I toyed a little around with it myself. However it seems to me that the deck will always lack of something for the generel consistency. You have 21 Pokémon. You need at least 12 energies to keep the energy flow going since you have no acceleration. In this example you will be left with 27...

RE: Toxic Gas VS Time Crystal

Sorry for reposting, but your inbox seems full :P Just to make sure I understand the difference of Powers/Bodies in unlimited play; Old Poke-Powers affect both newer Powers and Bodies, but newer Bodies does not affect old Powers?

    Toxic Gas VS Time Crystal

When playing unlimited, how does Muk's Toxic Gas interact with Dialga Lv X's Time Crystal? http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=45965 http://pokegym.net/gallery/displayimage.php?imageid=42354

    virizion

I'd say it depends on your local metagame. If it's filled with Terrakion EXs everywhere it might not be a bad idea, but in most situations a Tornadus EX should be enough to stop Terrakion. Tornadus can also be very useful in other situations and you don't need to rely on having two blend...

    Ampharos Energy Shutdown

The problem with Ampharos is that you don't shut down energy against some of the metadecks. Eelektrik can just use dynamotor to bypass ampharos' ability and Darkrai can do the same with Dark Patch. Without this main ability working optimal I don't see this deck to good at tournaments ever.

Best techs for Zekeels deck in current format?

Zekrom EX and Tornadus EX is all you need. Tornadus can give you a fast and solid lead at the beginning while you KO their Deino's. And should they be able to evolve them into Hydreigon you can OHKO them with Zekrom. If you can't prevent them from having Hydreigon in play, make sure to save a...

Pump up smash? How will it be ruled

The game is designed to 'forget' which cards are or were placed in a privat zone, which is why you can fail a deck search even though you just used Pokemon Communication. Same will aply to the hand. Even though you just used energy retrieval, it wouldn't count as 'public knowledge' that you had...
