Also if they do byes the same as last year your tie breaker will count those byes as 1's which is really really really strong when considering your final tie breaker at the end of the day. If I recall correctly most of the people that had the 2 byes made top cut if they were of the minimum...

Depends how dedicated you are to either. Last year I went to the Regional VGC after having practiced a decent amount got 5th place, and qualified for the National VGC tournament, however, the TCG Nationals was the day before so I figured I might as well play in that. I then went 7-0 in the TCG...

Great job Drew, I'll be honest I didn't think you would make it after going 0-2, but you sure pulled it off! I probably should of just used this deck again I couldn't of done worse than I did with Plox (lol....). Next season will be intresting and I'll see you at either Battle Roads or Cities.

However, if you're looking at 2007 as a basis keep in mind that people with rating invites that year were given a paid trip to worlds, while this year they are just given an invite. I still expect that there will be a lot of people that will go to the Grinder and there will be a decent amount...

The first year Nintendo organized a Worlds it was in Florida then it was in California for 2 years then Hawaii, then Florida then last year it was in California as you said. Of course the first worlds (not counting tropical megabattles...) was in Seattle under Wizards of the Coast.

I was fighting a Machop that I thought was random, my brother waits until I knock it out and says, "Wait wasn't that shiny?" I have yet to fight a shiny pokemon lol...
