    blastoise options

There comes a time when you suddenly throw down that Black Kyurem (like a boss), attach a lightning energy for the turn, and Scramble Switch, all-the-while, your opponent, still suffering cardiac arrest from the pure shock of you slamming down that beast of a card, Black Kyurem EX, soils his...

    landorus/mewtwo options

EtherDex is bad in the deck because you run DCE. Plus, you just don't have the space. I prefer the Virbank/Lasers option. Theorymon aside, the lasers are such a good card. I was skeptical about them at first, because it's easy to talk about how you can play around them. However, after testing...

KlingKlang Hype or Just Pure Good?

I think you've completely misread my entire first post as being "chiding." I don't think myself "above" anyone. I understand it's easy to misunderstand someone on the internet. Computer-mediated communication lacks the important non-verbal cues that make up 50% (arguably more) of how we...

KlingKlang Hype or Just Pure Good?

My post is entirely supposition. Pointing that out is redundant. My first sentence does nothing but establish my uncertainty about how good this deck is going to be. Also, I wasn't specific about which cards were bad. How can you even begin to discuss this without asking for me to be...

KlingKlang Hype or Just Pure Good?

I feel like we can't even talk about how "good" this deck will be until we know what's coming in the meta. I hear people talking a bunch about playing really bad fire cards just to counter this, which isn't even close to being viable considering Stoise/Keldeo is still an incredibly good deck...

Black Kyurem EX/Altaria/Rayquaza DRV Deck Help - SUPER SEXY TIME

I missed you switches! (Sorry.) As for the energy switch, it wouldn't be a bad idea. In fact, it's almost never a bad idea to put it in decks that do not have energy acceleration. It could possibly enable an easier turn 2 attack with Black Kyurem EX (if you have to start with Mewtwo or...

    Pokemon deck websites

The biggest problem is your attitude towards the entire situation. I'd be happy to discuss deck lists with anyone, but I'm not going to help someone who isn't willing to have an actual discussion. Instead of being defensive about what suggestions and comments everyone is making, add some...

Black Kyurem EX/Altaria/Rayquaza DRV Deck Help - SUPER SEXY TIME

I would like to see even more consistency. Ask yourself: would you rather have turn 2 Black Kyurem EX, or turn 2 Rayquaza? Most of the time, the answer is the former. The only situation in which you NEED Rayquaza is when you're playing Quad Sigilyph. If the MAIN strategy is to rely on Black...

    BW-on Hydreigon Darkrai

Also, if Dark Claw stays in play, it basically negates the effects of another player's eviolite without you having to waste a scrapper of your own.

    Sleeved Holos Sticking?

Not sure about the holos, but when it comes to sleeves, here's my say: Metallic Dragon Shields tend to stick more for me than the non-metallic. Otherwise, Dragon Shields are good. However, Matte KMC's are the best sleeves I've ever owned. They are near indestructible. I've only had to replace...

    Big news on 1/8/13 - Pokemon X and Y

I HARDLY play with the 3D on. It is an option, you know. Also, we've had TWO generations with 6 main games, a REMAKE generation with 2 games, and quite a few others (Mystery Dungeon, ect) on the DS platforms. It's about time for a change.

    Big news on 1/8/13 - Pokemon X and Y

I am super excited. I don't know about you guys, but I actually like these starters. I just hope their later stages aren't as disappointing as Samurott.

    Best deck in format?

Interestingly enough, I watched one of the cities finals where it was Keldeo/Blastoise vs. Mewtwo/Landorus. It's actually not as bad of a matchup as you'd expect. Sure, Landorus gets OHKO'd, but then you throw out Terrakion or Mewtwo and go on the aggressive. If you know you're playing...

Who thinks that Landorus looking pretty useless?

He's just like any other card in Pokémon: situational. There is no Pokémon in this entire game that has no weaknesses and is perfect in any situation. Mewtwo EX is as close as you get to a broken card and he certainly has an often debilitating weakness.

Pokemon TCG Online multiplayer build delayed until 8/22

This is probably the funniest thing I've read in this thread so far. Just saying.
