News from outside the USA ... and Happy New Year

NEWS FROM SPAIN! League will start next week, and nothing has been said about tournaments yet. Anyway, Devir Iberia (distributor for Spain, Portugal & Brasil) have sold all of the old cards they had in stock, and now Base1 holos are so cheap it isn't even funny...

Two on Two Play with E-On Cards

-Porygon3- I've been testing 2on2 with older cards during the last few months and most players here agree that ditto copies the last pokemon that attacked him or the last pokemon he performed an attack against. IE: (Player A has Ditto active; player B has a Skyridge Xatu and a Cleffa)...

New way to play: Chaos unlimited

My errors were because Spanish cards say "Pokémon" with a capital P, and they don't use the word "daño"(damage) anywhere. I only made a literal translation... Anyway, my English isn't as bad as I thought... I've played a similar format, called Unlimited War, the only differences are the lack of...

New way to play: Chaos unlimited

Sneasel isn't a valid example. According to my cards (which are in Spanish, so it could be just a translation error): (D)(D) Beat Up 20x Flip a coin for each pokémon you have in play (including this one). This attack does 20 times the number of heads.

    Dusclops vs Claw Fossil

I say Dusclops doesn't take any damage. The card doesn't say you damage the defending pokémon, you only knock him out. Same for Misdreavus. Perish Song and Judgement don't have a base damage, and in the text it doesn't say it does damage/put damage counters, and the glossary from the rulebook...

    Unown ! / ? and the Red/Green secret

About the R/G remake, I can't say anything for sure yet, but I think it's true since it's an easy way to make more money. And about the !? Unown, they really exist, they were found a long time ago through gameshark/gfx ripping. What I don't know is why they look bored, they don't have their...

    Japanese vs. English Anime

I usually watch Spanish-dubbed anime. They're well dubbed, and I've only found an anime series I prefer to watch subbed: Pokémon. Usually they translate anime directly from the Japanese version, but that's not the case with pokémon, so the double translation (J>E>S) results in changing the sense...

    How good are U?

Yeah, surprise factor works pretty well in local touneys. You have to talk like a newbie and make the other person think you are new to the game. Then, your opponent will not play as hard as he should, and he (or she) will react too late when you start playing seriously.

    August 13th: Official Left-Handers Day

Yeah, I know, it was only a joke. Anyway, being ambidextrous isn't as good as people think, we tend to do some things with a certain hand. And when we draw, our style usually depends on the hand we're using.

    August 13th: Official Left-Handers Day

I think everybody should be ambidextrous(both-hander) like me... I don't care where are the rings on my notebook.
