    Worlds report

Congratulations on your victory at Worlds. I'm glad to see a rogueish deck take the top spot. You may be using a fighting type Nidoqueen, but she knows what type she comes from. :grass:

    Coins Or Dice

Unless things have changed since I tipped on out, dice are fine. When it comes to challanging an opponent's randomizer (die, coin, or whatever) the judge is the one who determines whether or not a randomizer is truly random and legal. You cannot force your opponent to use another randomizer just...

    rroaryh's PA Regional Report

Not planning any comebacks, sorry. Just thought I'd check in and see how everything is going. It's good to know that though I am absent someone is still Representin' for Grass. :grass:

    rroaryh's PA Regional Report

Ah, dear sweet Vileplume. Always one of my favorites. If you can get that Vileplume EX out early I bet it's nasty. :thumb:

Game - The person above me...

The person above me seems (according to his profile interests) to be girl crazy.

    admit it!!!

I met my first girl friend at Pokemon League. It took me a while to ask her out because I thought she was a lot younger than she was. We ended up getting together a few times while league was closed for the Christmas shopping season. We were together for about a year before she dumped me for a...

    Mr. G Retiring

Wow. Thanks so much for the outpouring of good will. I've had lots of fun with you guys and it feels really good to know that I've had such a positive influence on the game. I wish you all the best of luck in the future. Now, to answer the burning question. I'll be hanging on to the Psyduck...

    Mr. G Retiring

I've had a pretty good run with Pokémon. I first saw the anime and really enjoyed it. At the time I was losing interest in Magic and when I saw the Pokémon starter deck I considered getting it. Once I found out a friend of mine had bought a starter deck and a few packs I decided to give the game...

    Greatest stall!!!!!!!!

It's an interesting idea. I don't know if it would be a practical competitive deck, but it might be fun to try out. Maybe throw in some fossils and Briney's Compassions.

    Wally's Training VS. Rare Candy

There was a topic in these cards recently. Here's a link. http://pokegym.net/forums/showthread.php?t=13839

    which grass ex is good?

I don't really see any of the Grass EX's as really game breaking, but there are a few possibilities. Sceptile EX isn't that bad. I've worked it into a deck as a big hitter along with the other Sceptiles. Now that we have Surprise! Time Machine, that might work even better. In Unlimited you might...

    Dragon burst?

I like to look at those Rainbowish energies just as they're described: Rainbows. They're all colors all at once, but still only one energy. Like if a Grass energy is a Green Ball, and Lightning Energy is a Yellow Ball, then Rainbow Energy is a Rainbow Ball. It's only one energy (except Double...

    gardevoir

Most of the Gardy decks I've seen use Gardevoir EX as the main attacker. Other possibilities include Gardevoir itself and a more recent add on to the team, Gorebyss. Another card to consider would be Rocket's Mewtwo EX. Use Gardy to power up R. Mewtwo EX and once it is fully charged and has lots...

Evee & Evolved Forms - Any Good?

Given the broad scope of your question it's hard to respond in detail, but there are a few good Eeveelutions out there. I think the better ones are in unlimited. The Neo Espeon and Umbreon (holos) are both pretty good. One of the Vaporeons (Aquapolis I think) I used in a deck supporting my main...

    Volcanic ash and linear attack?

 Venusaur!!! How can you betray your namesake like that!? The weakness/resistance probably won't come into play too much for Blaziken EX attacking. Sceptile and some of the big metal pokemon are the only times that I can think of off hand. But hey, you never know. A...

    Blaze question

There are a few other primary attackers you can use in the deck as well. Blaziken EX is very popular and since it runs off Torchic like the Firestarter Blaziken you don't have to run a whole new basic line to make it work. Other fire pokémon that have discards to do big damage can work too, like...

    Togetics copy-attack *UPDATED*

Well, if you look at the way the cards are worded you can find an answer. Togetic's Rainbow Moves says to copy one of the benched pokémon's attacks. Rocket's Tricky Gym says that Dark or Rocket's Pokémon can use the attack listed on the Gym instead of one of their own. This indicates that the...

    Volcanic ash and linear attack?

Like hinkbert says, weakness and resistance are not applied when attacking the bench. Attacks like Volcanic Ash and Linera Attack have reminder text which reminds (hence the name) players that weakness and resistance aren't applied on the bench. Reminder text is usually that stuff that's in...

Whats better Rare Candy or Wally's ?

Try out a few different ratios and see what works best for your deck. The advice I give out for most decks is to fiddle around with the trainers. Give it a try with just the Wally's or just the Candies, ow some mix of the too. See what formula works best for you.
