Can Regigigas LV. X use Sacrifice with no energy in the discard, just to heal the 80 damage?

If I have no energy in my discard, can I still use sacrifice to remove the 8 damage counters?

If my opponent has 1 card left in his deck and wants to use Trade Off, will the card go to his hand, or back on the 'bottom' of his deck?
