Hello all its Frankie Durso again with some more good news, I was able to win back to back Pokemon city championships this weekend with bandoom, and here is how I did it.

I woke up around 11AM realizing that I was super late, (and that I fell asleep on my homework) I drove out quickly to Dark tower games located in Denville NJ, just barley signing up in time for round one. I met up with friends that were at Timewarp’s city championship the day before, and I hoped for the best. Scene I was playing the same exact deck that I was playing at Timewarp’s city championship with no modifications to the deck whatsoever I put the deck Bandoom to the test one more time.

Round one VS Misses Blaze.
ARRRR, round one I play my best friends (Johnny Blaze) wife. Misses Blaze was running Blazken, delta Arbok with Marcarggo. She wins the coin flip and goes first, but to my disadvantage I have no energy for my shuppet! I top deck an energy, and was able to win the game using Banette ex. WON 1-0

Round two VS Jimmy.
Jimmy is an old friend of mine dating back to the STS(Pokemon super trainer showdown) . Jimmy was playing Ludecargo; I get a god start and start attacking right away. I get my necessary coin flips with Pokemon reversal and win the game.WON2-0

Round three Nick.
Ouch, not my day; now I am playing my best friends (Johnny Blaze) son! Nick is was playing the all power Raieggs; we were matching prize for prize however my Houndoom was able to lock his special energies, and that decided the game for me.WON3-0

Round four Mk Choy
NOOOO!.MK is like my Pokemon mentor; Mk always helps me with my decks and now I am playing one of the greatest players in NY.MK is playing Metanight with and ever popular tech for the deck Sceptile Ex. I get HORRIBLE SET UP AND BEFORE I KNOW IT Mk was shaking my hand and saying” Good game” Lose3-1

Hoora made the finals USMC(United States marine core) FTW!
Round one VS Greg
Greg was playing my deck, but with one huge exception, Greg was not playing Houndoom. I knew I was in trouble because his deck can get a faster set up than mine, I would like to mention that Greg was playing some very crucial cards in his deck that may shape the way people may play Banette. Greg was playing buffer piece as well as strength charm and crystal shard, might I ADD THOSE CARDS ARE VERY GOOD IN MATCH UPS WERE THERE IS DARK Pokemon(dark Pokemon= auto lost for banette)! Well back to the tournament report, I get nothing and lose fast lol.LOSE1-0
Round 2
We both get great starts but like in a true Bandoom fashion the “Flip cards” really decipher who will win the game, I get the necessary start up and coin flips. WIN 1-1
Round three
The clock was ticking away, we were both matched at 5 prizes each, then the judge calls “Time”; we played until someone drew a prize; I top deck a warpoint and win the game because of my powered up Banette Ex . Great game Greg! Win2-1

Finals Mk Choy
Well, I finally made it to the finals , now I was playing my good friend/ mentor of Pokemon for the Denville city championship.

Round 1 I get a god start and start attacking A.S.A.P, Mk was able to pull out his cards but was unable to get out the key winning card for his deck Sceptile ex.WIN1-0
Round 2
Mk gets a good/bad start, I start with sableye and he gets holon cast form I disable his main starter and if it was not for the fact that Mk did not have a starting energy I would have not won. MK great match my friend, its no wonder at all that you are always making the top cut! Won2-0

Well what a way to end a perfect weekend, two city championship victories, ohh wait dammit, I got a final on Monday guys please pray that I pass I need the credit ,well cheers to all and thanks for reading Frankie(spartanclone001) over and out !

Nice job again Frankie! Back to back wins is awesome. About the deer, yeah here in Jersey you really gotta watch out for them. Coming home last night from Time Warp there was one right by the road, luckily I saw it and slowed down early enough. They see headlights and get afraid and decide to jump in front of cars. Glad everything went well and you didn't hit any deer.

Nice job, Frankie. You've been doin' a great job so far, just keep it up :thumb:

Nice job Frankie. Glad to see the Italians are taking cities by force (I plan on going 8-0 personally, lol). Are you going to any of the ones in CT or Mass? See ya there.
