1st Edition Stamp on Gyarados Off-Centered???

I wanted to double check on this gyarados 1st edition I recently purchased.

There is no bleeding no issues with font, it doesn't look wet - looks legit in light .. etc .. etc

EXCEPT.. it's off centered, the "T" in edition is not directly aligned to the adjacent yellow border, like most gyarados and other 1st editions. The "edition" seems to be very slightly off to the right...

Is this possibly just a little stamping error? Is this common?

Not common. Not something I've seen before.
In fact, I'd be concerned that it might have been a shadowless copy that someone stamped after the fact.
Can't tell for certain just from the pic.
