modified 8/10 cornerstone of the hurricane deck. can knock out anything in 1 hit. unfortunately cessation gives this guy a hard time. also mario because your skitty and magnemite can get riolued. its kinda slow at setting up. kills blissey most of the time unless theyre using electivire or cessation. water resistance hurts too since meg d is getting more popular to counter bliss.

Not bad of a card, but is still too weak compared to krics and blisseys. It'll probably get better after SW comes.

rating : 7/10 now , 8/10 later

Feraligatr is an excellent card with two interesting attacks. Energy Cyclone is pretty good when you have Energy in your hand. Many people play multiple Delcatty in order to draw a ton of cards, and then Magneton to retrieve the Energy from Cattys' Energy Draw. This is a nice strategy when it works, but (having seen it up close, well-built, and well-run), I think it's a little slow also. Whereas Ape can be powered immediately with a DRE for 80 damage, Feraligatr needs not only a DRE, but 5 Energy cards in hand to do 90. The buildup can be slow. In the meanwhile, Skitty is susceptible to Mario and other fast Fighting types, and Gatr line will have trouble with Electivire.

Croconaw seems like the natural Energy searcher for this deck, so life *should* be easy for Gatr. Unfortunately, you have Cessation shutting down Croc's (and your other powers), and Battle Frontiers shutting down Catty. Run Windstorms, obviously, but there's not room for 4 most of the time since you need so much Energy.

I see some potential for Gatr, and some interesting teamups but, for the moment, I rate Gatr an 8/10. If it ever finds its bearings, however, it is 9.5/10.

Feraligatr is a Beast. Good Hp, Good Croconaw, Godly first attack, Ok second attack. Not so bad weakness. Mantine fills Retreat cost. I see Feraligatr to be played and it was not so bad at all.

Modified 8/10

Limited 7/10

i think gatr would be a beast if there was a way to run it with cessation. i'm working on it, well, i'm not and i am sort of.
