It's seriously preposterous to see how anyone can not give this card an amazing rating. Cuz hey, Rocket's Admin wasn't any good either cause you couldnt use it if your opponent had an Armaldo SS active, right?

10/10

Cessation Crystal R.I.P.

Love this card. <3
It's the one basic that you _want_ to see in your starting hand as it cries out, 'no T2KO loss this match'.

10/10 MF
(do people play Unlimited anymore..? =p )

IMO Pachirisu is a far superior play to Holon Mentor. With Mentor not only are you using your supporter for the turn (and you can't even play supporters T1 going 1st), but you're potentially having to sacrifice something unless you're running 4 Stantler or something else. So, not only do you need the Mentor RIGHT away, but you also need an energy to retreat whoever you start with. Pachirisu is card advantage. Yes, you don't start with it every game, but the times you do, it is definitely worth it. 4 Pachy and 2 Research is a great play right now in a lot of decks.

he's right, anyone who argues is pretty much wrong.

pachy is an absolute beast. searching for 3 and then setting up kos if you happen to have a bad hand after you ccf is really much better than the far inferior corsola sw ever was (when did you EVER play a water on him?)

10/10 gogogo

This card is just amazing! 3 basic for call for family right onto your bench. Obviously the starter of choice because 1 for 40 and you destroy tools! one tool in mind (Cessation Crystal)

10/10 (i'd give it a 9 because there in such high demand and i cant get any...but that's not logical >.>)

no... is everyone aguing pachi vs mentor ignorant to the fact that pachi USES AN ENERGY. The energy attached will usually be the energy for the turn, so this becomes an arguement of whether you should waste your supporter or energy for the turn. Saying that stantler wastes an energy to retreat is also silly as pachi needs one too. You should let it die stalling for set-up, while its searching for more supporters. pachi, however, is useful only one or two times, unless you can strangely clear up your bench for a third cff. There is more versatility in the fact that supporters can do more than just search for basic pokemon, they can also search for evolutions, lvl x's, energy, other supporters, and help draw. Pachi is one sad little squirrel because since he is being overhyped, people don't notice that he isn't as great. If you are a pachi fan. no offense, but he's not better than stantler or mentor in all decks. Probably much fewer than mentor. My review was posted earlier, if you want to see what i think about squirrel.

P.S. Don't try and tell me i don't know the pokemon tcg and that im some kid hating on the "supposedly" best card. :nonono: I know what im talking about.

DCP: I agree it's not the best, but any starter can get stopped by Sableye >.> 2/10 is far too low. It's a strong 6/10 Pokemon really.

back: Agreed. It has it's uses (can be a weaker Windstorm) but is massively overhyped.

You obviously don't.
Pachirisu is not overhyped, it is overgood. You do realize that it's the second attack that makes the squirrel > almost everything? IT PREVENTS EARLY CESSATION CRYSTAL LOCK! Something mentor and Stantler CAN'T. CAN'T! can't, can't, CAN'T!

The best starter in the format! Incredible attacks, replace holon mentor and 1 or 2 windstorms from many decks.
A really little Beast! =E 10/10.

Possibly THE best starter in this format. It is no Dunsparce, but the 2nd attack makes up for it. It murders Cessation Crystal, Buffer Piece, and many others. Replaces Corsola so no more being forced to get a single Pokemon because you need 3 of the same pokemon (Thank Lord) Fighting weakness sorta sux, but come on man, Don't let that discourage you. 3 Pokemons!! 3

Soooo... Let's see....
Great attacks
Good HP
Kills Cess. Crystal

Yeah. 9.8/10

this silly squirrel's second attack won't make it greater than almost anything. If it's soo great, just play E-vire lv x instead. much better than this trash squirrel. mentor doesn't waste bench space and doesnt have to discard energy unless you want to. stantler doesnt need any energy at all. pachi is OVERHYPED!!! figure it out. its better than average but it isnt "> almost everything". pick up some windstorms instead and hopefully that will help you get you a better record than squirrel in states. you fail...:nonono:

This hyperactive electric squirrel is quite possibly one of the best starters in the current format. Getting 3 Basics out on your bench T1 is excellent. Smash Short isn't nearly as useful, but can help get rid of those annoying Cessation Crystals and Leftovers. Fighting Weakness hurts, but since you don't use Pachirisu as your main attacker, it's not too bad.

Pachirisu gets a 5/5, an honor I don't give to just any card. This little rodent is something special.

This is the best starter in the format. Taking away the early lock down is awesome. Pach>Mentor as scizor said. Mentor is still a great card to run in certain decks, it is the BEST card to run in ANY banette Varients. It is obviously the best thing to use with anything δ. ALso, did anyone notice how cute Pachurisu is:p, I mean, just by the cruel Cuteness it has I MUST PLAY IT!!!

WHY do so many people say fighting weakness is bad????????????????????????????????????????????????

fighting weakness is bad but, it isn't the worst thing that could happen.

It's silly lil attack is what I think makes it soo good, yes, its 1st attack is a given but, 40 damage for one plus the chance to get rid of a couple cess. crystals is ZOMGZAMAZING. in Most decks that run Mentor is is usually because you need to discard an energy card, exception to this would be Banette. Stantler is a good card as well but by NO means is it better than Pachurisu. Pachi isn't overhyped at all, so I don't know what ya talkin about. Speaking of waisting space, your speaking of Windstorm, won't that take up space as well?

So this is what your saying her. Start with a Stantler, grab your mentor, end your turn. Next turn, play mentor, then not ebing able to play anything. Plus waisting space on WIndstorm which should see NO more play IMO, unless u fear Crystal Beach.

SO this is what Pach does though, you start with it, search your deck for 3 basics, thin your deck, and play a celios or something to get ready for the next turn. This sounds to me better than Stantler
