I think it's a decent card on paper. It's first can dry up your opponent's hand. Round can be devastating if only you can get enough Rounders out there. To my knowledge, Meloetta EX is the only basic Pokemon that has Round, which is Exploud's best bet to be conservative. But given Exploud's weakness coupled with expensive attacks and Meloetta EX's fragility, Lugia EX would wreck this combo without a 2nd thought. 2 Meloetta's down and it's over.

5/10 good card at first glance but it's too clunky, not to mention expensive...
8/10 for art. Scream 'til the song ends.

Let's see here. 140 HP is nice, but for a Stage 2 could be better. The first attack is good for getting rid of Items in the opponent's hand, but by itself won't make the card playable because of its Stage 2 status.

The Round attack can easily dish out loads of damage, but there are very few Pokemon out there that have the attack Round, so it becomes difficult to load the bench.

I'd compare it to Snorlax Plasma - both require you to load your bench for huge, One-Hit Knock Out damage and require lots of energy, but Snorlax is a Basic, and has a good Ability to boot. Also there's way, way more Team Plasma Pokemon than Pokemon with Round.

You may discover a niche for Exploud simply because of the utility of the first attack coupled with Round, and I applaud you if you do, but if you're simply looking for a strong attack, I'd look to Snorlax Plasma first.

4/10 in Modified.
8/10 for the Artwork.

Exploud, you will always have a space in my heart because you stop the opponent from doing his/her stuff.

The "stuff" this time is just Items. In a format where you can play out any and all items easily and without Supporter/Item-lock from the bench, Destructive Sound is at its best when you force the opponent to refresh the hand before you use the attack.

BW is such a simplistic format. There probably won't be much hope for you this time, Exploud. You've already had your day in the sun. :frown:

6/10

I see potential.

Anything that effects items in some way is going to be destructive. Even if they play Sableye, that's one turn where they have to junk hunt back those items.

This is also the best pokemon with round. 4 pokemon with round and you can knock out anything. The problems, it's still pretty expensive, and until we get meloetta EX, there are no basic pokemon with round.
