good ability but not worth the minimum 2-2 line it would take to run it. 90 hp is OHKOable by most main attackers and the attack it mediocre at best. maybe in a format without catcher this could be useful somewhere but for the foreseeable future this card is not worth using

With all the cards we have that discard (Ultra Ball, Computer Search, Superior Energy Retrieval, etc...) this card will surely start finding its way into many decks once its realized it will give draw power similar to that of Claydol. It also alows the player to not be so reliant on Supporters, opening 4 or so slots in any deck for other cards. Yes, Catcher can be a pain, but if your opponent is focussing on taking out your Electrodes while you pound their EXs, they are fighting a losing battle.

Not sure how to rate this. Draw in ability form is never bad, but most cards like this have some kind of attack to back them up, which Electrode lacks. Seems to be good in the Weavile/Exeggecute deck and would be nice in Blastoise (if you can find the room).

This isn't a very good card. I'm sorry, but nothing beats the draw power of Claydol. Claydol allowed you to return 1-2 cards from your hand to the bottom of your deck and then draw until you had 6 cards in your hand. This one only allows you to draw until you have 4 cards in your hand. That's what Bicycle is for. Why fill 4 spots of your deck for a 2-2 line of Electrodes, when you can run 2 or more Bicycles? If you are running only 2 Bicycles, there's 2 extra spots that are open, because Electrode requires Voltorb to get it out. I rate this card useless/10.

We have seen this "Power" before on Porygon2 (AQ) that drew up to 3 and Porygon2 (DS) that drew up to 6. The Aquapolis one was too low to make useful. The Delta Species one was around at the same time as Rocket's Admin, which is the N of its day. It didn't see much play either.

This is Bicycle in Ability form. If you have 4 in hand, including Bicycle, you can play Bicycle for +1 card. You cannot do that with Electrode. It is useless at 4 in hand while Bicycle is useless at 5 in hand. The obvious use is to counter N. But if you cannot justify running 1 Bicycle in your deck that can be found with Skyla and played on the same turn, I don't see how you justify running 1-1 or 2-2 Electrode in your deck

It's only real play will be with Weavile.. As you'll be discarding a lot, especially pokemon.

I think we are all aware this is it's only true use.
