Awesome starter for all kinds of decks, not only doing 30 damage for one energy, but also providing energy acceleration for the plasma/plasma badged pokemon. AND it makes retrieving special energies from the discard pile a very viable option.

Best played in TDK, Big Basics, and fighting decks, which currently lack consistent energy acceleration.

170HP is meh for basic EX; weakness to fighting is harsh, but the one retreat cost is sweet.

Overall: 9/10

This card is pretty broken! 1 Lightning Energy Card to deal 30 Damage and get back any Energy Card, including DCE from your discard pile for 1 of your benched Team Plasma Pokémon! You can even toss Team Plasma Badge on 1 of your benched Pokémon and use Raiden Knuckle to put any Energy Card you desire onto THAT Pokémon! Not only that, but 4 Deoxys bumps this up to 70 and attach an Energy Card from your discard pile to 1 of your benched Pokémon. Toss in Laser Bank and that's 100 damage plus the Energy Card Effect!

And if you really wanted to, you can set up Thunderous Noise to deal 90 Damage Discard an Energy Card attached to 1 of your benched Pokémon. 4 Deoxys bumps this up to 130 and Laser/Bank will up that to 160!

170 HP is pretty good for this EX. Fighting Weakness makes you have to be careful of Landorus, but that's why you play it in TDK. So that if it gets smacked by Landorus, you smack their Landorus with your Kyurem! 1 Retreat Cost is pretty good. You can even use the retreat cost and then use Raiden Knuckle to get back that discarded Energy Card!

This card is so amazing, it gets a 10/10! Just don't have it active when Landorus is floating around. But if you are stuck with this active and your opponent uses Landorus, do a huge comeback with Kyurem!

10/10 for the plasma deck.

Changes the way decks can be built. Thanks to Raiden Knuckle, Plasma decks can get away with having all special energy. Not only do you get your special energy back, but you get them back onto your plasma pokemon, You can effectively recycle any energy and still do damage for just one energy. Thunderous noise is overpriced, but it's nice to have as a finisher (and has many means of acceleration to power it up, including itself) And to clinch the deal, you only need one energy to retreat, which is very useful against catcher locks.

Previously, I thought Deoxys was the star of the plasma deck, but now I say Thundurus is. It's just as important as Deoxys is to the plasma deck, but is less situational and reliant on other cards. Easily the best card of the set.
