I am very hopeful for this card; it won't likely survive a hit, but in the correct deck neither will what it attacks. I was wondering if instead of focusing on the combo with Exeggcute it might work better with Flareon [Plasma].

I wasn't sold on this at first. It seemed like it would be hard to have a consistent stream of pokemon to discard (even with exeggecute), but playing against the deck proved me wrong. It takes a while to set up and needs to be built right, but smart players can work around those weaknesses and deal quick, cheap damage. As Otaku has mentioned, this could also work with Flareon. Once you run out of things to discard, send in Flareon to sweep.

As for the card itself, it gets the benefits of being a Dark Pokémon (Darkrai, Dark Patch, Dark Claw), AND a team plasma pokemon (colress machine, Deoxys). Hail is a decent spread attack and the 90 HP lets it be searched by level ball. Even if you're not too keen on discarding pokemon, it still has enough going for it.
