Really good in a draft tournament.

Not good in any other format.

2/10

Stage 2s need to be game changers to be used nowadays. This isn't.

This card is horrific. 130 HP is Mediocre. 3 Energies to Deal 60 or 2 if you use DCE, is NOT gonna be doing very much. It doesn't hit the magic number of 90+, so it's not even worth talking about. It's 2nd attack would've made more sense if were an Ability. It could very well be just like Dusknoir D/P's Dark Palm Poképower. But 4 Energy Cards to do that? Yeah, no thank you. Way too slow!

It's retreat cost is fine, only 1. It's weak to Lightning, that's not terrible, because Eels is getting rotated soon. And then it's Resistant to Fighting Type. Both are to be expected, because it's Normal/Flying Type in the video game. Fighting Resistance these days. Who needs Fighting Resistance these days? No one is using Landorus EX any more, because of Kyurem PLF.

My rating, 1/10. That's how bad this card is.

5/10

Having faced decks using this, it's not a bad card. Once you get it set up, you can easily wreck your opponents plans and eventually win by leaving them with nothing to promote. Of course that raises the question, why not just knock them out? That's usually the better strategy, but most things that OHKO things have some drawback to balance it out. Once you get Staraptor powered up (colress machine/plasma badge?), you can keep on using it without having to recharge or take self damage.

Is it great? No, but it does give us something new that can catch unsuspecting players off guard.

One mediocre attack on a stage 2 isn't great. To be quit honest, I didn't even know this card existed, and it's probably best that I didn't.
