Just wanting to know if there is a flash player for the 3DS that will allow videos to play like YouTube that is available.

It doesn't need to be Adobe FlashPlayer. I can not find a solid answer to having a Flashplayer on the 3DS.

Are/Is there a/any downloadable FlashPlayer program(s ) that works on the 3DS that play's videos?

As far as I know, no. The browser isn't extensible in any way, so unless they put out an update your're stuck.

So, how does NetFlix work? The Netflix app has a player with-in to allow it to work?
Still sort of new to the DS and all it's features, just wondering how it is that some things work on sites while others do not. Read the Manual, blah blah blah, but there is no real "answer" as to why some things work on sites while others do not. Does Nintnedo plan to up-date this? I can not find a solid answer to that as well.

IIRC, Netflix uses some differing technology other than flash, though I don't remember what. But it's akin to how Netflix still works on Apple products despite there being nothing Adobe Flash on it.

Well, looking forward to an up-date then, still pretty cool to be able to go on the net/web and at least go to sites like this. Thanks for the info guys.

iOS also has some built-in software that plays video, which I assume is an API apps (and some sites) can call into.

I doubt we'll get an update for Flash. A lot of people wanted it last year after the first major update. It is likely to just not happen.
