Not sure I really understand the whole thing since I never saw the ads, but it sounds pretty stupid. Thanks for posting .

Celebrities are soooooo sensitive. I'd totally have changed my name and rapped my order to give a million dollars to charity. 50 needs to lighten up.

If he wins I think I'll be sick. This is almost as dumb as the lady winning the lawsuit where she burned herself on coffey and sued them becasue the cup didnt warn her it was hot. >.<

    Judges are idiots. >_>

If it's used as an adjective, dollars and cents aren't usually pluralized. 99ยข menus and whatnot.

Hold up. Fifty Cent isn't at fault here. Did anyone read what the site said? Taco bell was coming out with their $.69, $.79, $.89 deal thing and wanted Fifty Cent to endorse their campaign. So Taco Bell offered Fifty Cent $10,000 to a charity of his choice if he changed his name for one day (to Sixty-Nine Cent or Seventy-Nine Cent, or Eighty-Nine Cent) and went to a Taco Bell and made an order while rapping. Fifty Cent didn't take the deal, but Taco bell went ahead and put out the idea that Fifty Cent would take up the deal and would be a symbol for their new campaign through marketing and stuff.

So now Fifty Cent loses credibility because of a supposed Taco Bell campaign that he was supposedly a part of, even though he didn't agree to it.

    I'd sue Taco Bell too.

The way I read it was that he's just mad that they publicized the offer thereby possibly causing some people to assume that he would endorse it consequently making him the "center" of it. Of course, I don't watch enough TV to know how Taco Bell is advertising.

    That doesn't matter.

It's damn funny. THAT'S what matters.

I don't care who wins this lawsuit. All I know is that I've literally laughed a good majority of my bodily appendages right off. I'm satisfied.

You must have missed the part that said:

This might sound funny, but it's bordering on the line of pretty bad stuff. I know I would feel awful if a company that I didn't care for took my image and used to it to sell their items.
