Wow! What an event! We had 49 players who generously donated $160 to the Cason Terjeson Scholarship Fund. DNZ Cards is matching the amount for a total of $320!

Masters is in finals (David N vs Dillon M), but here are the other winners:

Senior: Amelia B. (2nd year in a row, undefeated all day!)

It sounds like this was a great event....too bad I could not attend.......I was having family vacation at Ocean Shores ....at the beach....in the water......in the pool....sort of my own family water party.......
 
Thank-you for a wonderful time, David and Niki. The Watergym just gets more and more fun all of the time.
It was very nice of you to acknowlege my birthday as well. I am also glad that we raised so much money for Cason's Memorial Scholarship fund.

As for the actual tournement, I loved the format. Opening it up to all kinds of pokemon realy enabled there to be a lot of different deck choices, Sarah went 2-1 and finished in 4th place I went 3-2 and got my behind kicked by my wife in R4 which caused me to miss the top cut in the water gym for the 1st time in the past 2 years. But then she did go onto make the top cut at 4-1.

It was so nice to see so many people there this year. It really was an outstanding party. Already looking foreward to next years.

@rokman: I think I spotted a Surfing Pikachu.

I know that Blastoise/Kingdra won Masters, and from the posts in this thread it seems like Kingdra won Seniors. Not sure what took Jrs.

Ian won in juniors with Togekiss/manectric MT I believe.

I was a plus power away from taking the winning (first) prize in Game 3 of finals. Dillian Dig Well-ed the last 3 cards in his deck to get the one extra energy he needed to use Double Launcher and take out my Claydol on the bench.
