Contrary to earlier ADV series mini-decks, the newest set has come up with a different approach.
Each "mini-set" (Aqua and Magma) consists of 33 numbered cards (I know, this is not news). What is unique is how they have been split into two half-decks of 30 cards each, through addition of a few multiples. They also have created one card in each mini-set in both holo and non-holo versions (#017 non-holo/018 holo Magma's Aggron and 011 non-holo/012 holo Aqua's Walrein). The two differently-numbered cards are identical except for the number and holo treatment.
There is a coin in each package which sports the team symbol. There are no damage counters.
